Onboarding Specialist - Cisco Asset Management


For each new Asset Management engagement:

  • Works with the Seller, Partner, and/or Customer to start the Asset Management Onboarding process immediately (before a Customer Engagement (CE) resource is assigned)
  • Develops Customer Profile to capture customer’s behaviors and preferences
  •  Directs the Managed Data Services (MDS) team to conduct an initial Install Base Assessment (IBA)
  • Scopes and assesses the size and complexity of the engagement
  • Transitions account to assigned CE resource


  • Supports account transitions in the event of Asset Manager role change or departure


  • Business-acumen; aware of sales cycles and business objectives
  • Attentive to needs of Customers and Partners, good listener
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and explain data analysis conducted by supporting team members
  • Persuasive and engaging presenter, clearly articulate complex, data-driven concepts

  •  Renewal Tracking and Assistance (proposals)
  •  Utilize CAMBR to evaluate new bookings and work with TLs on assignments
  •  Identify Training Needs
  • Conduct CAM Audits – ensure knowledge, accuracy, and timelines have been met

    • Quarterly Metrics Dashboard
    • TSA Metrics
  • Work with Project Admin to coordinate current requirements with all departments
