RAY • ALLEN is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative.  RAY • ALLEN’s “Software with a Service” solution provides customers with the ability to identify IT asset information including, maintenance contract expiration dates and End of Life and Support details.  The solution also provides portal updating related to MACD/RMAs.  The current opening, associated with the RAY • ALLEN solution, will be responsible for acquiring new Resellers, Service Providers and End Customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell the RAY • ALLEN solution to new VARs, SPs, and End Customers.
  • Utilize sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the company’s software offerings.
  • Gain complete understanding of company pricing and proposal models.
  • Conduct detailed demonstrations of company software offerings.
  • Maximize all opportunities to increase revenue through the designed sales process.
  • Sell consultatively and make beneficial software recommendations to prospects and clients that address business issues and needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales records through SalesForce, including documentation of sales calls, customer contact information, prospect responses, closed sales, and follow-up activities. 
  • Maintain contact with all assigned clients to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.


Sales Representative Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of sales experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions.
  • Ability to work with decision makers.
  • Detailed and results oriented with an ability to work within a sales quota structure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong work ethic and established time-management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
